Project Description:
Limestone, beige, honed C60
the monolith consists of light, irregular, honed limestone slabs. All exposed surfaces were clad in natural stone, including the façade, roof, and passage ceilings and floor. This enhances the cubic character and overall features of the building, which represents a transition between the neighbouring industrial architecture and the natural landscapes. Awarded an honourable mention by the 2007 German natural stone prize.
